For over 60 years, Nakyangyarn has been a reliable partner for everyone in need of quality yarn, and our commitment continues until Nakyangyarn is accessible to all who require it. We aim to forge possibilities through diverse collaborations and establish meaningful connections with you.
Gallery SIL is located at the heart of Seoul’s Gyeongridan-gil. The gallery hosts a 24-hour window exhibition open to the public. It is open all year around exhibiting various works. Every month, a brand new yarn-based exhibition by our fiber artist is showcased in the gallery. Knitting, crochet, weaving and all other kinds of artworks made out of yarn are welcomed. The exhibits feature works specifically created by artists who work with Nakyangyarn. We fully provide the materials and the opportunity to exhibit extraordinary works of the artists.
Currently, the gallery has mainly been showing the works of our local creators. However, we aim to introduce a wide range of artworks by creators from around the world. Additionally, we strive to foster collaborations between previously showcased artists, allowing us to present an even greater variety of artworks and exhibitions that transcend regional boundaries.
At Studio Nakyang, we provide photography services for artists creating works using Nakyangyarn products. We provide high-definition quality photography service to artists in need for promoting their brands. Exquisite results are achieved with ample natural light in the studio, and the three floors including a rooftop cover a various range of ambience that ensures quality.
Place Nakyang is a space provided free of charge to creators who work with Nakyangyarn products. Most of our products are showcased in this delicately designed place and waiting to be experienced by yarn-workers. We also offer this place as a creator’s residency for knitting and crochet designers to support their business. Creators-in-residence are provided with various benefits for their business.
