Our commitment to supporting creators started with the 9 Creators project. Since 2018, we annually gather 9 fiber artists who express themselves and their creative vision with the material yarn. By providing yarns for their work, promoting them in various ways, and suggesting diverse projects and collaborations, we assist their creative endeavors.
In 2023, we took a big step into the global market by showcasing our products at the H+H fair in Cologne. Through the establishment of the Global Creator program, we now collaborate with creators from all corners of the world.
In line with our business's mission to foster maximum freedom in creators' artistic endeavors and support a diverse range of artistic activities, Nakyangyarn refrains from imposing any sales-related obligations on participants in the Creator Program. Our creators span various fields within textile art, extending beyond just knitting and crochet. What we value most in our creators is how they creatively, uniquely, and practically integrate Nakyangyarn's products into their artistic works.
Creators chosen for the 9 Creator project receive all the necessary products to bring their artwork to life. They are expected to showcase at least one project every two months on Instagram, either on Nakyangyarn's main account (@nakyangyarn) or Nakyangyarn Global (@nakyangyarn.global). Throughout their project term, many of our creators have presented remarkable pieces of work, pushing their creativity beyond limits.
This project began with our unwavering belief in the symbiotic relationship between artists and our company - as they flourish, so do we. We strongly believe that abundant support fuels artists’ creativity and passion, enabling them to concentrate on their crafts.
In turn, their growth will lead to our development too. What started as a domestic project, has already entered its seventh year, transcending borders and embracing global creators. We will always stand by our creators’ side and be their steady supporters.
